Gerindra: Prabowo's Free Food Program Starts 2025

Deputy Chairperson of the Gerindra Party, Rahayu Saraswati, said that the Free Nutrition Eating program, which is President Prabowo Subianto's mainstay program, will only begin in early 2025.

He said this was because the budget for the program was only available in 2025. Currently, according to him, the program is still in the preparation stage, testing, and socialization.

The deputy chairman of Commission VII of the DPR RI said that the program that was included in President Prabowo Subianto's vision and mission must later be adapted by the newly formed government cabinet. According to him, the program also requires 48 thousand kitchens in all regions in Indonesia.

In addition, he said the program would not immediately touch the 82 million recipients when implemented. So, according to him, the budget for the program must also continue to be improved in the following years.

In addition, he also responded positively to the attention to the nutritional problems conveyed by a number of pairs of candidates for Governor and Deputy Governor of Jakarta in the debate. He also considers this as support for Prabowo's flagship program.

According to him, this is a confirmation of Prabowo's mission because the program is needed by the community. He also hopes that whoever will later lead Jakarta will run the Free Nutrition Food program as best as possible.

"For example, it is possible from the budget to add additional food or intake for children and pregnant women in Jakarta, yes, we welcome it very well," he said.
