Aziz Yanuar Sincere Rizieq Shihab's Exception Rejected By The Judge: It Was Predicted, Now The Focus Of The Next Session

JAKARTA - Rizieq Shihab's lawyer, Aziz Yanuar, has predicted the judge's decision to reject the objection or exception note in the case of the UMMI Hospital swab results. Because he reflected on the results of the previous case.

"As predicted (and) the same (in the case), the panel of judges rejected all exceptions from the defendant and the legal advisor", Aziz told reporters, Wednesday, April 7.

So, Aziz did not want to bother arguing about the results of the interim ruling. What is clear is that Rizieq Shihab's team of lawyers will focus on the next trial with an agenda for examining witnesses.

On the other hand, Aziz will also coordinate with the public prosecutor regarding the data on the names of the witnesses who will be presented. Because the team of lawyers needs to face the next trial.

So far, only the names of witnesses in the case of crowds and violations of the Petamburan and Megamendung health protocols have been obtained.

"Later, we will communicate with the prosecutor personally to ask for the names. So that it is easier for us to dig through the Report of Investigation (BAP) which we already hold too", he said.

For your information, the panel of judges at the East Jakarta District Court rejected the objection or exception notes in all cases involving Rizieq Shihab. Thus, the trial will proceed to the witness examination stage.

For cases of crowds and violations of health protocols in Petamburan and Megamendung, the next trial is planned for Monday, April 12. Meanwhile, the case for the results of the UMMI Hospital swab test will be held again on Wednesday, April 14.
