Instead Of Advises Not To Reply To Israel, Iran Prefers The Proposed Ceasefire In Gaza-Lebanon

JAKARTA - The Iranian military proposed a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and Lebanon rather than suggestions about not to retaliate against Israeli attacks.

Quoting AP, Sunday 27 October, Iran confirmed it has the right to retaliate against Israeli attacks on its country which were carried out on Saturday, October 26 in the early hours of the morning.

In an Iranian military statement, Israel used the US-controlled Iraqi airspace to launch its attack using a "stand-off" missile.

According to Iran, the impact of the missile was much lighter after traveling a distance to Israeli targets in three Iranian provinces.

The statement also said Iran's military radar site had been damaged, but some were in repair.

Israel attacked a military target in Iran by air on Saturday, October 26 in the early hours of the morning. The effort was in retaliation for a series of ballistic missiles fired by Iran into Israel in early October 2024.

The attack on Iran's missiles into Israel was a response to the death of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh and the killing of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah amid efforts to ceasefire which continues to be called internationally.
