Shots And Explosions Lighted Iran's Tehran Sky During Israeli Attacks

JAKARTA - Shots and explosions illuminate the sky of the Iranian capital. Sources familiar with Israel's operations said the second wave had begun.

Videos posted on social media by Tehran residents showed an explosion in the sky, and traces of the fire emerged from the city in the early hours of the morning.

One of the videos, whose location was geolocated by CNN, showed several tracking shots fired at the time of the explosion being heard.

Iranian officials said an explosion heard in the early hours of Saturday was linked to air defenses deployed in several areas around Tehran and other areas of the country.

Tasnim news agency previously reported several explosions heard west of the Iranian capital.

Several explosions were also heard in Tehran in the early hours of local time. Israel launched a retaliatory attack on Iran. The attack was reportedly right on the military's target in Iran.
