As Prabowo's Special Envoy, Zita Putri Zulhas Has Already Submitted To Resign From The DKI DPRD October 14

JAKARTA - Member of the PAN faction of the DKI Jakarta DPRD, Zita Anjani, was appointed as Special Envoy for the President for Tourism by President Prabowo Subianto through the inauguration which was held today.

It turned out that the daughter of PAN Chair Zulkifli Hasan had previously submitted her resignation. Zita sent a letter of resignation from a member of the DKI DPRD dated October 14, 2024.

"There is a letter of resignation addressed to the Secretariat of the DKI DPRD. The letter is dated October 14, we received it on October 18," said Acting Secretary of the DKI Jakarta DPRD Augustinus in a short message, Tuesday, October 22.

As a member of the DPRD, Zita cannot hold concurrent positions if she wants to carry out her position as the Presidential Special Envoy. This is stated in Law Number 17 of 2014 concerning the MPR, DPR, DPD, and DPRD.

In Article 350 paragraph (1), provincial DPRD members are prohibited from holding concurrent positions as state officials or regional officials, judges in judicial bodies, civil servants, members and the National Police, BUMN and BUMD employees, or other agencies whose budgets come from the APBN/APBD.

"DPRD members should not hold concurrent positions," said Augustinus.

Currently, the Secretariat of the DKI DPRD is still processing Zita's resignation to continue with the interim shift (PAW) from her faction to replace Zita in the DKI DPRD.

"The PAW mechanism is still in the administrative process. (PAW was proposed) from the DKI PAN DPW, addressed to the Chairman of the DPRD," he added.

President Prabowo Subianto inaugurated seven figures as Presidential Special Envoys, at the State Palace, Jakarta, today.

The inauguration was based on Presidential Decree Number 76/M of 2024 concerning the Appointment of the Presidential Special Envoy for the Republic of Indonesia in 2024-2029, which was set in Jakarta 21 October 2024 by President Prabowo Subianto.
