JAKARTA - Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) will have an office that was previously occupied by Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan when he served as Coordinating Ministry for Maritime Affairs and Investment.

"Earlier, I just received an explanation from the Minister of State Secretary, Pak Prasetyo, that for the Coordinating Ministry for Infrastructure and Regional Development, this will occupy buildings or offices that have been occupied by the Coordinating Ministry for Maritime Affairs and Fisheries," said AHY at the Office of the Ministry of Transmigration, Tuesday, October 22, which was confiscated by Antara.

AHY, who has just served as Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Development for two days, only visited the office location on Tuesday, October 22 afternoon. He said he was satisfied with the office he would later occupy for duty.

"This afternoon I also just reviewed, although it was only short. At least I already knew there was a place there," he said.

Even so, he did not question where he worked to serve the country. He even expressed readiness to be placed or based anywhere.

"Never mind (the Coordinating Ministry for Maritime Affairs and Investment), wherever we are ready to pay," he said.

In his later duties, AHY will oversee five ministries, including the Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning (ATR)/National Land Agency (BPN). Then the Ministry of Public Works (PU), the Ministry of Housing and Settlement Areas, the Ministry of Transmigration, and the Ministry of Transportation.

Therefore, AHY stated that he was still studying the structure and authority of these ministries. According to him, the formation of the structure and authority of the Coordinating Ministry is still in the stage of improvement.

In addition, AHY revealed that his party is also determining the physical location of the new ministry office. All important elements related to the Coordinating Ministry for Infrastructure will be arranged to ensure work efficiency.
