Trial At School Monitored By Vice President Gibran, Acting Governor Of DKI Ensures Free Eating Program Enters The 2025 APBD

JAKARTA - Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta Teguh Setyabudi has again held a trial of a free nutritious eating program at school. Today, the trial was held at SDN 03 Menteng, Central Jakarta. Yesterday, a free trial of eating was held at SMKN 26 Jakarta.

Today's trial was monitored directly by Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka. After distributing food to students, Teguh ensured that President Prabowo Subianto's flagship program would be included in the DKI Regional Budget for the 2025 fiscal year.

"For the 2025 RAPBD (APBD) we are discussing it to enter. Because this is running, God willing, say program, man as well, we already understand that it will start in early 2025," said Teguh, Tuesday, October 22.

During the trial period that had started since Heru Budi Hartono served as Acting Governor of DKI, free food distributed in schools used corporate social responsibility (CSR) funds from BUMD-BUMD DKI.

The packages provided for Rp. 23,000 consist of white rice, chicken karage, chicken eggs, capcay, and fruit with a total of 571.25 calories.

"This food, as before, is packaged in environmentally friendly paper boxes, with waste management carried out by waste banks, in collaboration with the Environmental Care Community Forum," he explained.

In the trial period that will still take place in the future, Teguh said that the DKI Provincial Government will present a variety of food menus that contain calories according to the age of students.

The calorie content is adjusted to the target group. Like yesterday for Vocational High School (SMK), the calories are 750, now for elementary school children (SD) it is adjusted to 571 calories," he added.
