Residents Complain Jokowi's Thank You Banner

JAKARTA - A number of banners that read "Thank You Jokowi-Ma'ruf" and "Congratulations on Working Prabowo-Gibran" were installed along Jalan Penataran, Menteng District, Central Jakarta, Monday, October 21.

Unfortunately, the banners were installed in any place. Namely at the street lights, traffic signs to tree trunks on the side of the road.

According to local residents, the banners had been installed since one week ago before the inauguration of President Prabowo Subianto and vice president Gibran Rakabuming Raka.

"Just regret it, put it on a tree trunk and on a road pole. The greeting banner is installed in any place," said Jery (29) to reporters.

Jery said that the banner should be installed in a place that is suitable for its designation, not in any place.

"So it doesn't violate the regulations of the Regional Regulation and it looks good too. If this, the impression is not good to look at because it seems like it's just being installed," he said.

Jery also hopes that related parties, namely the DKI Jakarta Satpol PP, can control banners that violate the installation rules.

"It must be put in order or moved the location of the installation to the official area. Don't put it on a tree trunk," he said.
