Senior Leader Of Hamas Khaled Mashal Ensures Resistance Continues Until Free Palestine

JAKARTA - Hamas senior official Khaled Mashal reiterated the determination of the Palestinian resistance movement in his fight against the Zionist regime to independent Palestine.

Mashal, who also serves as Hamas leader outside Palestine, said this during a speech to honor the late Yahya Sinwar, Head of the Hamas Political Bureau who died in an Israeli attack some time ago.

"During the Al-Aqsa operation, we lost a large number of resistance leaders in Gaza, the West Bank and abroad as well as camp residents and this movement has always presented its leaders on the way of martyrdom, pride, land acquisition and freedom from Israeli occupation, led by Ahmed Yassin, who was killed by the Zionist regime in 2004," he said., quoted from IRNA October 21.

Furthermore, he said, the leadership of this movement had bid farewell to its leaders and elders on their long journey.

"Just a few weeks ago, we lost our brother Ismail Haniyeh and so have we sacrificed a large number of our loved ones during the Al-Aqsa operas and before," he said.

While calling the martyred leaders and commanders an icon of the Palestinian people, Mashal stressed that the killing of Sinwar would not stop the resistance from the desired goal, namely the release from the Zionist occupation.

"Hopefully this martyrdom will be blessed," he said.

"The martyrs are winners in the eyes of God and they raise great enthusiasm in their movement and nation," he said.
