The Palace Regarding Major Teddy Not Participating In Inauguration: Cabinet Secretary Under The Ministry Of State Secretary

Head of the Presidential Communication Office Hasan Nasbi answered about Major Teddy Indra Wijaya who was not appointed as cabinet secretary (Seskab) along with the ranks of the Minister of the Red and White Cabinet, Monday, October 21.

"It is very likely that the cabinet secretary will be under the Ministry of State Secretariat (Kemensesneg) later," Hasan Nasbi said after being inaugurated as Head of the Presidential Communication Office at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, was confiscated by Antara.

When asked, was the position of secretary of the cabinet not at the level of ministerial position in the Prabowo-Gibran era? Hasan reiterated that the position of secretariat duties in order to support the task of making the presidential policy was under the Ministry of State Secretariat.

Major Teddy, a middle-ranking TNI Army (AD) officer whose name was mentioned by President Prabowo, was included in the ranks of the stock exchange members of the Red and White Cabinet on Sunday, October 20 evening.

When asked whether Teddy could serve as cabinet secretary without having to retire from the TNI, Hasan admitted that he needed to further explore the situation.

"I haven't studied it yet. Tomorrow I can answer, later I can answer. Because I just got inaugurated, I haven't received the President's direction yet," he said.

Major Teddy Indra Wijaya was not inaugurated with ministers and heads of the Red and White Cabinet at the State Palace, Jakarta, today.

In the agenda for the inauguration of the minister which took place around 10:00 WIB, President Prabowo inaugurated a total of 48 ministers, along with five heads of institutions, namely the Attorney General, the Head of BIN, the Presidential Chief of Staff, the Head of the Presidential Communication Office, and the Chairman of the National Economic Council.

The name Major Teddy has been announced by Prabowo as Cabinet Secretary on the evening of Sunday, October 20. Meanwhile, the National Economic Council, which was not originally mentioned by Prabowo in last night's announcement, is now occupied by Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan.
