JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta General Election Commission (KPU) announced the theme of the second debate for the Jakarta gubernatorial and deputy governor election (Pilgub) which will be held on Sunday, October 27.

"The second debate theorem is about the economy and social welfare," said DKI Jakarta KPU member Fahmi Ziryptaah in a short message, Monday, October 21.

The second debate for the weekend will be held at the Ancol Ecovention, North Jakarta. Like the previous debate, the implementation will also be held starting at 19.00 WIB.

The debate participants are the candidate pair (paslon) for Governor-Deputy Governor number 1 Ridwan Kamil-Suswono, candidate pair number 2 Dharma Pongrekun-Kun Wardana, and candidate pair number 3 Pramono Anung-Rano Karno.

Similar to the previous debate, the DKI Jakarta KPU divided into six segments of the inaugural debate for the governor and deputy governor candidates (cagub-cawagub) in the 2024 Jakarta Pilkada which began with the presentation of the vision and mission of each candidate pair.

Then, the second and third segments are part of each candidate pair, the fourth and fifth segments will be questioned between the candidate pairs and the sixth segment of the closing.

During the Jakarta gubernatorial election, the KPU held three debates between candidate pairs. The first debate was held on October 6, with the theme of strengthening cultural resilience; HR development; to programs for women, children, marginalized people, and disabilities. Meanwhile, the last debate was held on November 17.
