JAKARTA - Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM), Bahlil Lahadalia ensured that the Special Mining Business License (IUPK) for community organizations (ormas) PP Muhammadiyah will be issued this month.
"I announce today on this honorable pulpit, soon, hopefully still in the holy month of Ramadan, I will sign the IUPK for Muhammadiyah, for coal," Bahlil said in a statement to the media, Tuesday, March 11.
Bahlil ensured that the granting of mining management permits was in accordance with the rules because it was regulated in the Minerba Law which was only revised by the DPR RI in February. The chairman of the Golkar Party said that the provision of IUPK was a mandate from the Basic Law.
Responding to this, the Chairman of PP Muhammadiyah, Anwar Abbas expressed his gratitude to Bahlil Lahadalia for signing the mining IUPK for Muhammadiyah.
"Thus, it means that doubts from various parties regarding the seriousness of the government will give the IUPK to Muhammadiyah have been answered," he said in a statement to the media, Tuesday, March 11.
