Vice President Gibran Receives Position Memory From Ma'ruf Amin

The Vice President-elect of the Republic of Indonesia, Gibran Rakabuming Raka, officially received a memorandum of office from the 13th Vice President, Ma'ruf Amin, in a procession at the Vice Presidential Palace, Jakarta, Sunday, October 20.

The book entitled "Resilient Improvement (al-ishlah ila ma huwal ashallah tsummal sullah fal ashlah)" summarizes the important achievements and challenges faced during Ma'ruf Amin's tenure as Vice President for the 2019-2024 period.

In the event which was also attended by their respective pairs, Selvi Ananda Gibran and Wury Ma'ruf Amin, as well as high-ranking officials from the Vice Presidential Secretariat, staff, and journalists, the submission of the book became a symbol of the transition of leadership between the oldest Vice President and the youngest Vice President in Indonesian history.

This memory of positions contains various strategic initiatives carried out by Ma'ruf Amin, including the reduction in stunting prevalence, the acceleration of the sharia economy, the empowerment of pesantren, and bureaucratic reform. This 100-page book is expected to be a guide for Gibran to continue these programs for the better development of Indonesia.

The handover ceremony ended with respect to Ma'ruf Amin and Wury Ma'ruf Amin, which was released by Gibran and Selvi as a sign of appreciation for their service during their tenure.

Present at this event were the Head of the Vice Presidential Secretariat Ahmad Erani Yustika, the Vice President's Special Staff, the Deputy, and other high-ranking officials within the Vice President's Secretariat.
