PDIP Secretary General Appreciates Prabowo's Speech Giving Honor To Bung Karno

JAKARTA - Secretary General (Secretary General) of the PDI-P (PDIP) DPP Hasto Kristiyanto congratulated Prabowo Subianto at the MPR RI Plenary Session at the Parliament Complex, Jakarta, Sunday, October 20, 2024 as President of the 8th Republic of Indonesia.

He also thanked Prabowo because in his inaugural speech as President, he had expressed his appreciation for the services of the 1st President of the Republic of Indonesia Soekarno and the 5th President of the Republic of Indonesia Megawati Soekarnoputri.

"Listening to his passionate speech to promote nationalism, and how Mr. President Prabowo paid a tribute to Bung Karno because his struggle to make Indonesia not only independent but also to become the leaders of Asian, African and Latin American nations," said Hasto, ANTARA, Sunday, October 20, 2024.

According to him, Prabowo also mentioned the leadership of Mrs. Megawati Soekarnoputri who was able to solve various multidimensional crises and also a common thread with the leadership of the previous presidents to become a foundation that builds optimism for the future.

For this reason, he also hopes that Prabowo can realize the ideals that are fought for with extraordinary sacrifices by the nation's founders. One of them, he hopes that the ideals of releasing the poor can really be realized.

"That's why the state's politics is to achieve the state's goals as conveyed by Mr. President Prabowo, we provide support," said Hasto.

In addition, he also assessed that Prabowo in his speech said that the various problems and homework currently occurring were caused by the imaging politics that had always been displayed so far.

"There are so many problems with poverty, so many of them don't have a place to live, so much homework for us, this is to show a political truth in the midst of various efforts to image," he said.

He also said that the spirit of patriotism conveyed by Prabowo during his speech would obviously bring new hope to Indonesia for the better. He also hopes that Prabowo will unite the energy of the Indonesian people and fill his government cabinet with professionals.

"All components of the nation must prioritize unity when we talk about state politics, when we talk about how to advance public welfare, educate the nation's life," he said.
