Greet The Sultan Of Brunei To The Head Of The US Delegation, President Prabowo: Thank You For Your Presence

JAKARTA - Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto thanked all state guests, from the Sultan of Brunei Darussalam Hassanal Bolkiah to the Head of the United States Delegation Linda Thomas-Greenfield who was present at the inauguration of the President and Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia today.

Prabowo Subianto was officially inaugurated as the 8th President of the Republic of Indonesia with Gibran Rakabuming Raka as the 14th Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia, in the MPR RI plenary session at the Nusantara Building, Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Sunday, October 20.

This plenary session was chaired by the Chairman of the MPR RI Ahmad Muzani with the attendance of members of the DPR and DPD RI as well as invited guests and state guests.

Starting his first state speech, President Prabowo greeted and thanked the presence of the head of state, head of government, to special envoys for friendly countries and international organizations who were present at the inauguration this time.

"On behalf of the Indonesian people, I want to thank you for all of you," said President Prabowo.

"It is an honor for us that you come all the way in the midst of a busy schedule, at the moment of our constitutional sovereignty," President Prabowo continued.

President Prabowo also mentioned his full name along with the position and origin of their country who was present, starting from the Sultan of Brunei Darussalam Hassanal Bolkiah to the French Presidential Special Envoy Francois Corlindin.

"We also pray to the Almighty that our Supreme Guests, those who come from afar, will return to their homes safely, in a state of constant friendship with us," said President Prabowo closing his state speech.

Apart from the Sultan of Brunei, the Head of the United States Delegation and the French Presidential Special Envoy, the state guests who attended included Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet, Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, to Singaporean Prime Minister Lawrance Wong.

There are also Deputy Prime Minister of Thailand Suriya Juangroongspacekit, Vice President of Laos Pany Yathotou, Vice President of Vietnam Vo Thi Anh Xuan, PM of Timor Leste Xana Gusmao, PM of Papua New Guinea James Marape, Deputy PM of Australia Richard Marles, Deputy PM of New Zealand Winston Peters, Vice President of China Han Zheng, First Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Denis Manturov, Deputy PM of Qatar Khalid bin Mohamed Al-Attiyah and Serbian Prime Minister Milos Vucevic.
