MPR Chair Asks Prabowo-Gibran To Continue Palestine's Struggle, "Free Palestine" Reverberates At The MPR Building

JAKARTA - Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka were asked to continue the struggle for the independence of the Palestinian people, after being officially inaugurated today.

In his remarks after the inauguration, the Chairman of the Indonesian People's Consultative Assembly Ahmad Muzani said, under the leadership of former President Joko Widodo and Vice President Ma'ruf Amin, one of the issues handled appropriately in international relations is the struggle of the Palestinian people to gain independence and human rights, amid increasingly complex global situations.

"Free Palestine, free Palestine, free Palestine" reverberating the remarks of the Chairman of the MPR RI in the Plenary Session Room, the Nusantara MPR/DPR/DPD RI Building where the inauguration was held, Sunday, October 20.

The chairman of the MPR RI said that the Palestinian issue is not a regional problem, but is a humanitarian issue that requires the attention and support of all of us.

"As a nation that upholds the principles of justice and humanity, Indonesia has a moral responsibility to continue to support the struggle of the Palestinian people," said the Chairman of the MPR RI.

According to him, through active diplomacy, Indonesia can vote on those marginalized, encouraging the international community to unite in efforts to support the rights of the Palestinian people.

"Therefore, to President Prabowo Subianto, through this honorable pulpit, we hope to continue the commitment of this struggle, making support for Palestinian independence part of our foreign political policy," said the chairman of the MPR RI, which was greeted by applause from participants at the plenary session.
