Densus 88 Raided Houses In Sukabumi, Participated In Safeguarding Young Mothers And Children

JAKARTA - The Special Detachment Team (Densus) 88 of the Police Headquarters secured a young mother with the initials RA (22) who lived in a house in Pamoyanan Village, RT 04/08, Sukabumi Regency, West Java.

"Yes, it is true that the Densus 88 Team went to a resident's house in Bojongssawah Village, Kebonpedes Subdistrict. From that house a woman aged around 22 years was secured", said Sukabumi City Police Chief AKBP Sumarni to reporters reported by Antara, Monday, April 5.

Information gathered from the head of RT 04, Pamoyanan Village Jujun admitted that he did not know for sure the raid that was carried out by the Densus 88 Team. It is alleged that the search of Anis's (60) house was related to a suspected terrorism case.

When the police officer carried out the raid he was at work, suddenly contacted by the head of the local RW (Citizens Association) that there was a raid in the area.

Jujun has not yet received detailed information from the owner of the house because she cannot speak to him yet.

However, the information was that apart from the young mother who was secured there was another person, namely her child who was still a toddler. He added that the Densus 88 Team was taking the house occupants and their children. It is not known what case they were involved in.

"RA was arrested while sitting in the middle of the house. So far we are not suspicious of the activities carried out by this family and for her husband, she works as a sales. With this incident, of course, we are shocked", he added.

Jujun also appealed to his citizens to hand over this case to the police and not think of anything wrong with the family until the police provided information regarding the safekeeping of the young mother and child.
