Polda Metro Jaya has prepared traffic engineering during the inauguration of the elected president and vice president, Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka on Sunday, October 20.

Dirlantas Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Pol Latif Usman said traffic engineering would apply on every route that was traversed by Prabowo-Gibran's entourage and VIP guests.

"Situational traffic engineering," said Latif, quoted on Friday, October 18.

Some of the roads diverted include traffic light (TL) from the shooting field to Jalan Gatot Subroto being turned back under bulk two or diverted to the Ladokgi kite climb towards Semanggi;

Then, the traffic flow from the In-City Toll Road that will come out at the off-ramp of Dua Restaurant Island is straightened towards the Tomang Toll Road;

The traffic flow from Jalan Palmerah Timur to Jalan Gelora or the back door of the DPR/MPR RI building is straightened to Jalan Army Students or Jalan Permata Hijau;

The traffic flow from Jalan Gerbang Pemuda to Jalan Gelora or the back door of the DPR/MPR RI building is diverted to the left to Jalan Asia Afrika;

The traffic flow from Asia Afrika Street to TL Shooting Field is diverted to the right to Jalan Pintu 1 Senayan or turned around on Jalan Asia Afrika;

The traffic flow from Semanggi to Slipi is diverted to the left in bulk two or Ladokgi to Jalan Gerbang Pemuda;

The traffic flow from the direction of Slipi heading to Jalan Gerbang Pemuda was straightened towards Semanggi.

Not only traffic diversion, in the series of inauguration activities, 6,757 joint personnel were deployed related to the security scheme.

Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Ade Ary Syam Indradi said thousands of personnel were deployed with details of 4,100 personnel of the Polda Metro Jaya Task Force, 1,667 joint personnel of the Polres Task Force in the ranks of Polda Metro Jaya, 857 Central Jakarta Police Task Force and 133 BKO personnel from the Regional Government and related Stakeholders.

"The security force involved 6,757 personnel," said Ade.

They will be placed in the DPR-MPR area or at predetermined points in the mapping.
