Bahlil Calls The Chairman Of The Political Party To Discuss With Prabowo After The President-Vice Presidential Inauguration

JAKARTA - Chairman of the Golkar Party DPP Bahlil Lahadalia said that his meeting with several general chairmen of political parties with elected presidential candidates in the 2024 election, Prabowo Subianto, was filled with one of them by discussing post-auguration situations.

"We from the general chairman of the coalition party discussed with Pak Prabowo to discuss future developments after inauguration," said Bahlil as quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, October 17.

Bahlil denied that the meeting discussed the discourse of joining the PDI-P in the ranks of parties supporting the government in the future.

"There was no discussion of it. We discussed the state, not discussing the party," he said.

Bahlil also denied that the meeting was related to the arrangement of the ministerial seat. Bahlil said that the composition of the cabinet will be announced directly by the President for the 2024 '2029 period.

At the same location, the General Chairperson of the PAN DPP Zulkifli Hasan revealed that his meeting with several general chairmen of political parties, including Bahlil, discussed future consolidation.

"Hopefully we can unite and make Indonesia a developed country," said Zulhas, Zulkifli Hasan's popular nickname.

Zulhas said the meeting was also used by the general chairmen of political parties to wish Prabowo a happy birthday. Prabowo today celebrates the 73rd Anniversary.
