DENPASAR - The Provincial Government (Pemprov) of Bali summoned tourism industry players who held fireworks attractions in the middle of Hindu prayers at Berawa Beach.

"All business actors must adjust their customs, indeed it is tourism (firework attack), but we see that it is not appropriate, this is not just being traced, but we have called," said Head of the Bali Tourism Office (Dispar) Tjok Bagus Pemayun reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, October 16.

Tjok Bagus said the dangerous fireworks attraction plus firecracker booms very close to the praying participants were inappropriate.

Dispar Bali reminded that Balinese tourism is based on culture, although not a few like fireworks, he emphasized that they need permission and consider local wisdom for the one tour.

It is known that the fireworks attraction that took place at Berawa Beach was held by the FINNS beach club in Badung Regency.

Based on the direction of the Governor of Bali, regional officials were asked to summon the tourism industry players responsible for the incident.

"In the future, all tourism actors are obliged to respect the customs and provisions in Bali, they will be summoned later but all business actors must adjust their customs," said Tjok Pemayun.

Separately, the Acting Governor of Bali Sang Made Mahendra Jaya admitted that he regretted this incident because it was very inappropriate.

"The development of Bali tourism as regulated is based on culture which is unique and makes tourists interested in coming to Bali, not because it is confusing like the fireworks attraction," he said.

All parties, including business actors, are obliged to respect, respect, and maintain Balinese customs, traditions, and culture. For this incident, I have assigned the relevant OPD to summon parties for questioning," concluded the MadeMahendraJaya.
