Working Visit In North Sumatra, Today Jokowi Leaves For Deli Serdang To Inaugurate Dam

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) continued his working visit to North Sumatra Province, Wednesday, October 16 by leaving for Deli Serdang Regency.

Based on a press release quoted by ANTARA, the Head of State and a limited entourage took off using the Indonesian Air Force Super Puma helicopter, from the Soewondo Air Force Base, Medan City, at around 07.40 WIB.

In Deli Serdang Regency, President Jokowi is scheduled to review and inaugurate the Lau Simeme Dam.

After the inauguration, President Jokowi and a limited entourage will continue their journey to Asahan Regency, using the Indonesian Air Force Super Puma helicopter.

The President and his entourage will land at the Helipad of Mutiara Stadium, Asahan Regency, to then go to the Kisaran Toll Gate.

At that place, the Head of State will inaugurate the Indrapura-Kisaran toll road section 2 (Five Pulang- Kisaran) and the Bayung Lencir-Tempino toll road section of the Betung Jambi toll road section.

From Asahan Regency, President Jokowi and a limited group will return to Deli Serdang Regency by using the Indonesian Air Force Super Puma helicopter.

The President will then replace the aircraft mode with the Indonesia-1 Presidential Aircraft to continue his journey to North Tapanuli Regency.

"President Jokowi is scheduled to inaugurate the Agricultural Genomic Research Center in Humbang Hasundutan Regency. After the inauguration, President Jokowi is planned to return to Jakarta via Raja Sisingamangaraja XII Airport, North Tapanuli Regency," said Deputy for Protocol, Press and Media Presidential Secretariat Yusuf Permana in a written statement.

Previously, on Tuesday (15/10), President Joko Widodo inaugurated the North Sumatra Main Stadium located in Sena Village, Batang Kuis District, Deli Serdang, North Sumatra.
