Jungle Water Park Boss Is Examined By The Corruption Eradication Commission Regarding The Gratification Of Batu City Government 2011-2017

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) continues to investigate allegations of gratification in the Batu City Government in 2011-2017 by summoning four witnesses.

One of them is the Managing Director of PT Graha Adransentra Propertindo, Hamid Mundzir.

PT Graha Adrasentra Propertindo is a recreational park operating company consisting of The Jungle Water Park (The Jungle), Jungle Fest, and Jungleland Adventure Theme Park (Jungleland).

"The investigation took place at the KPK office on Jalan Kuningan Persada Kavling 4, Setiabudi, South Jakarta", said Acting KPK spokesman for the prosecution Ali Fikri in a written statement, Monday, April 5.

In addition, the KPK also summoned an entrepreneur named Lamidi Jimat, Director of PT Lintas Inti Mandiri Artha (PT LIMA) Zuriah, and Made Wiley Harsadinata as the President Director of PT. Cakra Nusantara Sukses 2007-2008 period or Commissioner of PT. Abei Anmas Trans.

As previously reported, in this case, the anti-graft commission investigators had conducted a number of searches and summoned a number of witnesses. One of the witnesses who has been summoned is the Mayor of Batu Dewanti Rumpoko.

Even though she was present at the examination that was held at the Batu City Hall, Dewanti refused to be examined.

Currently, the KPK is investigating the alleged acceptance of gratuities. This case is a development of the case that involved the former Mayor of Batu, Eddy Rumpoko.

In the case that began with the hand-arrest operation (OTT), Eddy was found guilty of accepting a bribe worth IDR 295 million and a Toyota Alphard car worth IDR 1.6 billion from a businessman.

For his actions, Eddy was sentenced to 5 years and 6 months in prison and a fine of IDR 200 million, a subsidiary of 3 months in prison by the Supreme Court Cassation Council in 2019.
