Already Sent Invitation To Prabowo's Inauguration To The 2024 Presidential Election Candidate, MPR Leader: We Ask With Respect To Attend

The Indonesian MPR leadership has sent invitations to the inauguration of the President and Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia to candidates for presidential and vice presidential candidates in the 2024 presidential election. MPR leaders respectfully request Anies Baswedan, Muhaimin Iskandar, Ganjar Pranowo and Mahfud MD to be able to attend the inauguration ceremony of Prabowo Subianto as the 8th President of the Republic of Indonesia.

"We have checked the invitation, we have received each candidate, Mas Ganjar what all kinds of things. And we will check later this afternoon or tonight, we will call Mr. Anies, Mr. Ganjar, Mr. Mahfud, and Mr. Muhaimin. We will call, and we will respectfully ask for him to be present on October 20," said MPR RI Chairman Ahmad Muzani at Nusantara III Building, Parliament Complex, Senayan, Central Jakarta, Monday, October 14.

In addition to the 2024 presidential election candidates, continued Muzani, of course the Indonesian People's Consultative Assembly invites the previous president and vice president of the Republic of Indonesia. The invitation, he said, would be given directly by the leadership according to the specified time.

"We will come, we will invite the former presidents and former vice presidents so that they can also attend on October 20 as well. God willing (present directly, ed), we are adjusting the time for them," said the Secretary General of the Gerindra Party.

The MPR leadership will also invite international countries as guests of honor who will witness Prabowo's inauguration as president of the Republic of Indonesia. In particular, for ASEAN countries and friendly countries.

"Yes, VVIP from several countries, several countries have stated their readiness to come and we are preparing the security and protocols needed for his arrival here," said Muzani.

"Almost all ASEAN countries and the countries around us, including friendly countries with us, and European countries, other countries, Western countries," he continued.
