Gemala Accommodates Youth Group Aspirations, Convinced Pramono-Rano To Raise Gen Z's Voice

JAKARTA - The Hot Jakarta Women's Movement (Gemala) accommodates a number of aspirations from young groups, especially women for their hopes for the candidate for Governor-Deputy Governor of Jakarta, Pramono Anung-Rano Karno.

Pramono's youngest daughter, Hanifa Fadhila Pramana, who took part in the movement, expressed her aspirations that were accepted as outlined in a book containing their records.

Later, the aspirations that will be accommodated will be submitted to the candidate pair carried by PDIP and Hanura to be included in the program to be carried out if they win the Jakarta gubernatorial election.

"The participants who attended conveyed their aspirations and this will be conveyed directly to Mas Pram and Bang Doel. There are approximately 200 aspirations that we accommodate. From those related to issues with women, but also things such as congestion, flooding, transportation, young people in particular, and others," said Dhila when met in the Tebet area, South Jakarta, Sunday, October 13.

Since the beginning of the nomination of the Dhila regional election, Pramono admitted that many young voters have not been known. Therefore, Dhila views that activities to accommodate aspirations like this can bridge the realization of the hopes of young people for their candidate leaders in Jakarta.

"You (Pramono) are well aware that he is not well known among Gen Z and millennials. That's why he asked for help from me and other Gen Z friends to form forums so that the aspirations of Gen Z and millennials can be heard, and also become a platform so that you can get acquainted with many Gen Z and millennials," explained Dhila.

Continuing, the Head of the Youth Division of the Pramono-Rano winning team Agustina Hermanto (Tina Toon) said that his party received a lot of input on problems in Jakarta.

Some of them include increasing the representation of women in government and legislature, to gender equality in the recruitment of labor in government agencies.

Tina, who is also a member of the PDIP faction of the DKI Jakarta DPRD, admitted that the aspirations absorbed will also be stated in the preparation of policies by the DKI Provincial Government and the DKI Jakarta DPRD.

"At this rate, we will immediately hear, right. Oh, I know there is this problem. Actually, the government's job is to solve it with existing policies and budgets, right," said Tina.

Meanwhile, Deputy Secretary of the Pramono-Rano winning team Ima Mahdiah believes that dialogue that accommodates aspirations like this is an effective way to get the majority of young voters to Pramono-Rano during the vote later.

Bearing in mind, in the survey results last September, the votes of young voters, especially Gen Z, have not been concentrated on Pramono-Rano.

"That was before the debate, before yesterday's debate. But I think this October is running. I'm sure Gen Z or the millennial Gen Z has started to change the choices with Mas Pram and Bang Doel," explained Ima.

"Because judging from yesterday's candidate pairing debate, it is clear which one has a clear program for young people," he added.
