Although Different In The Presidential Election, Prabowo Believes PKB Will Build The Nation Together

JAKARTA - President-elect for the 2024-2029 period Prabowo Subianto has his own belief in the National Awakening Party (PKB). This is because despite the different political choices in the 2024 Presidential and Vice Presidential Elections (Pilpres), Prabowo believes PKB will work together in one line to build the nation.

"I am sure. I am sure that PKB will be with me to build this nation," he said while attending the PKB Legislative National Coordination Meeting (Rakornas) in Jakarta, last Thursday.

Prabowo has no problem with the difference in choice in the 2024 presidential election. The reason was that in the 2024 Regional Head Election (Pilkada) which was held simultaneously, there was also a political party (parpol) member of the Advanced Indonesia Coalition (KIM) who was in coalition and not.

Prabowo, who currently serves as minister of defense, reiterated his reason for forming a fat coalition in his government. This is none other than because he wants unity in building Indonesia.

"That's what I want. I want to gather all the strengths of the Indonesian nation to unite with us, be united," he said.

According to Prabowo, unity has many benefits, such as maintaining and managing Indonesia's wealth so that it can be felt by all people.

On that occasion, he joked that PKB was a nationalist religious party. Then, his party, the Gerindra Party, was a religious nationalist party.
