DEPOK - A man with the initials FI was held captive by the head of the office where he worked on Jalan Raya Pekapuran, Babakan Village, Tapos, Depok City, last Monday, October 7.

Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Ade Ary Syam Indradi said the perpetrator asked for Rp10 million, so that the victim could be released.

"The reporter (with the initials UH) explained that he had to give money worth Rp. 10 million to the boss where the reporting child worked," said Ade Ary in his statement, Thursday, October 10.

He explained that the Rp10 million was given as a substitute for the motorbike that was pulled by the leasing when used for work.

"The replacement for the motorbike used by the reporting child is working. And the leasing party has taken the bicycle," he said.

Ade also said that at this time the victim could not be contacted by the family.

Therefore, FI's family reported it to the Depok Metro Police for further action.
