Iran Warns Israel: We Have Many Missiles

JAKARTA - Ebrahim Rezaei, an Iranian lawmaker and spokesman for the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission, stressed Iran would retaliate with violence against any Israeli attack. His country may choose to target locations outside the Israeli military position.

"We have so many missiles," the spokesman warned CNN, Wednesday, October 8.

"In our latest attack on Israel, we are only targeting military sites," Rezaei said.

"There are other targets that we can achieve, and we have the ability to achieve them. Our response will be firm and tough," he added.

Rezaei has imposed attacks on Iran's interests in other countries, such as the April attack on Iran's diplomatic building in Damascus, will be seen as an attack on Iran's territory.

Rezaei said the United States should stop its military support for Israel and push it towards a ceasefire in Gaza.

"Stop weaponry and support for the Zionist regime (Israel)," he said.

Iran is preparing to confront Israeli attacks in response to a series of missiles fired by the Islamic Republic on October 1.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Iran would pay for its attacks, and the US promised support for the Jewish nation's response.
