Reviewing Free Trials For Schools In Jakarta There Are Salads And Chickens, Gibran: This Is The Most Luxury Menu

JAKARTA - The elected Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia Gibran Rakabuming Raka also reviewed the free trial of eating at a school held by the Governor of DKI Jakarta Heru Budi Hartono. This trial took place at SMA Negeri 70 Jakarta.

The free nutritious dining menu served by the DKI Provincial Government this time contains rice, chicken, potato perkedel, eggs, tofu, salads, and bananas. The food package is wrapped in cardboard boxes.

To Heru, Gibran said that the free meal menu served by the DKI Provincial Government was the most luxurious compared to free eating trials in other areas. In fact, Gibran compared it with a trial at a school in Hambalang, West Java.

"I see today's menu is among the most luxurious, sir. Yesterday we saw, last week we checked several places in Hambalang, Sentul, I think today is the most complete, most luxurious," said Gibran at SMAN 70 Jakarta, Wednesday, October 9.

Gibran caught the response of the students when receiving this free food quite well. Thus, the eldest son of President Joko Widodo hopes that Prabowo Subianto's flagship program and himself in the next 5 years of government can be executed properly.

Given, a number of local governments have tested free meals at various levels of school, ranging from elementary, junior high, to high school.

"We want later when this program is executed it can run well. Because this program is one of the programs that students and parents have been waiting for the most," explained Gibran.

On the one hand, Gibran admitted that currently his party has not finished reviewing the free meal mechanism at the school which is the mainstay program. Gibran also doesn't know who will be the food provider if this program is officially implemented.

"Once again, the President and I are elected to continue to review and look for the best formulation for this program. Either the amount of the budget, or using a kitchen central, using MSMEs, we will decide soon," said Gibran.

Continuing, Heru admitted that the free meal per portion held by the DKI Provincial Government is more expensive than the Prabowo government has budgeted. Prabowo budgeted a food portion of Rp. 15 thousand.

Meanwhile, Heru prefers to serve food at a cost of Rp. 25,000 per serving. Therefore, Heru asked Gibran to provide input to the DKI Provincial Government so that it can be in line with Prabowo's flagship program.

"Mas Gibran, everyone has tasted it. Later, of course, please give us input directions in 2025 to be able to give the best from the central government program," explained Heru.
