Jokowi Waits For The Administrative Process To Submit Capim And Cadewas KPK Names To The DPR

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) informed the latest developments regarding the selection of candidate leaders (capim) and candidates for the supervisory board (cadewas) of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK).

Jokowi explained that currently the list of candidates and candidates for the KPK is still waiting for the administrative process from the State Secretariat (Setneg).

"Waiting for the completion of the administration from the State Secretariat," said Jokowi.

Jokowi said that if the administrative process had been completed, he would sign it and then hand it over to the House of Representatives (DPR).

"When it's finished, it's brought to me, signed," he continued.

Previously, President Joko Widodo received the selection committee for the leadership candidate and supervisory board of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) for the period 2024-2029 in Jakarta, last Tuesday.

Chairman of the Pansel Capim and Cadewas KPK Muhammad Yusuf Ateh said that at the meeting the members of the Pansel submitted the final results of the selection of candidates for leadership and supervisory board of the KPK.

"Mr. President asked us to convey to our media friends and at the same time will convey 10 (names) candidates for leadership and 10 (names) candidates for the KPK council through websites as usual," said Yusuf Ateh at the main building of the Ministry of State Secretariat, Jakarta.

Deputy Chairperson of the Capim and Cadewas Pansel of the KPK Arief Satria added that the names of the 10 candidates for leadership and supervisory boards would then be submitted by the president to the DPR. After that, the secretariat of the South Korean Pandemic will immediately announce the list of names to the public.

"Alhamdulillah, Mr. President will forward the names to the DPR. God willing, in this short time. So the secretariat team is preparing to submit a list of names through the website as usual," he explained.

The following are the names of the ten candidates for KPK leadership for the 2024-2029 term which are submitted to the president:
