"Since his college days at IPB, Atang has shown strong leadership by serving as President of the Student Executive Board (BEM KM) IPB 2001-2002," Deni said in his statement, Monday, October 7.

As the former President of BEM KM IPB, Atang understands well how to build collaboration between elements of society to achieve greater goals.

"The activities and leadership that he showed during the student period became the forerunner of his role when he was Chairman of the 2019-2024 Bogor City DPRD, where he continued to fight for the interests of the wider community," he explained.

Deni said, as part of a forum that prioritizes the values of activism and collaboration across generations, seeing the figure of Atang not only as a leader with integrity but also as a representation of the aspirations of the people, especially young people who want real change for the city of Bogor.

To fight for Atang-Anna to become the leader of the Rain City in the Bogor Pilwalkot, Deni mentioned several reasons.

Among them, leaders are based on activism and collaboration. Deni said, Atang's experience as a student activist and former BEM President KM IPB became a strong foundation for his approach to leadership.

Atang is considered to understand the importance of community participation in the development process and always strives to bridge the dialogue between the government and the community.
