Awarded The Honorary Sign Of Samkarya Nugraha From The President Of The Republic Of Indonesia, Dangrup-1 Kopassus: Inspiration And Motivation Of Soldiers

JAKARTA - Kopassus Group-1 Commander Colonel Inf. Irfan Amir said the award received by the unit he led was a motivation and inspiration for all soldiers to increase dedication and professionalism.

He said that after receiving the Honorary Sign of Samkarya Nugraha which was handed over directly by the President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo during the TNI's 79th Anniversary Ceremony at the Monas Cross Field, Jakarta, Saturday, October 5.

"This award is given as a form of appreciation for the extraordinary performance, relentless dedication, and dedication of the Kopassus Group 1 in maintaining the integrity and sovereignty of the Republic of Indonesia," explained the Dangrup-1 Kopassus in a written statement, Saturday, October 5.

Colonel Inf. Irfan Amir, since his establishment on March 23, 1963, Kopassus Group-1 with Dhuaja "Eka Wastu Baladika" continues to carve gold history and ink in various fields, as well as make a big contribution to the country.

"The honorary sign of Samkarya Nugraha was last received by Kopassus in 1969, when it was still known as the RPKAD. Another TNI unit that had received this award previously had KRI Arung Samudera in 2013," explained Abituren Akmil 1998.

On this occasion, Dangrup 1 Kopassus expressed his gratitude to Allah SWT and deep gratitude to the President, TNI Commander, Kasad, Danjen Kopassus and all senior officers and all Kopassus Group 1 soldiers.

"Thanks to the support and contribution of all parties, the Samkarya Nugraha Honorary Sign can be awarded to Kopassus Group 1 in 2024," said Dangrup-1 Kopassus.

He added that this award is dedicated to all Kopassus soldiers, both those who are still serving in Group 1 today and soldiers who have served in Group 1 Kopassus so far.

"This achievement is expected to be an inspiration and motivation for all TNI soldiers to always increase their fighting spirit, professionalism, and dedication in maintaining state sovereignty, as well as providing the best service to the nation and homeland," concluded Dangrup-1 Kopassus.

It is known, based on Law No. 20 of 2009, Samkarya Nugraha is a sign of honor given by the President of the Republic of Indonesia to the TNI unit that has contributed to a military operation and development for national and national defense.

In the 79th Anniversary of the TNI this year, the Samkarya Nugraha award was also given to the 2nd Marine Amphibious Reconnaissance Battalion, Sat Bravo 90 Kopasgat, Air Squadron 31 Halim Perdanakusuma Air Base, Air Squadron 17 Halim Perdanakusuma, Yonif PR-501 Bajra Yudha 18/2/Kostrad, Kodim 1714 Puncak Jaya, Submarine Unit Koarmada II, KRI Frans Kaisiepo (368) and KRI Bima Suci (945).
