Man From Garut Died Of Power While Repairing Billboards In Tangerang

TANGERANG - A man with the initials J is thought to have been electrocuted while trying to repair a billboard on Jalan Raya Binong, Curug, Tangerang Regency.

Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Ade Ary Syam Indradi said the incident occurred on Thursday, October 3, during the day.

"It is true that a man was found dead and suspected of being electrocuted. The report was received on Friday, October 4, 2024, at 04.40 WIB," said Ade Ary in his statement, Friday, October 4.

The incident began when the victim repaired the billboard. After the victim was above, soon the victim was electrocuted.

"After climbing onto the billboard pole, the victim was electrocuted," he said.

After being evacuated, the victim was taken to the nearest hospital. But unfortunately, his life could not be saved.

"The victim has died. Then the victim was immediately taken to Garut for burial by his family," he concluded.
