Gerindra: Prabowo Cabinet Will Be Known D-5 Presidential Inauguration

JAKARTA - Gerindra Party Daily Chair Sufmi Dasco Ahmad conveyed that the composition of Prabowo Subianto's elected presidential government cabinet will be known five days before the presidential inauguration on October 20, 2024.

"The number of ministerial nomenclatures is still dynamic. So if you ask how many, I can't answer yet," said Dasco at the Parliament complex, Jakarta yesterday.

Dasco explained that currently Prabowo is maintaining his rhythm and stamina to prepare for the inauguration. Prabowo will not travel abroad or out of town before being inaugurated.

President Joko Widodo's government programs that are considered good will be continued, while the incomplete program will be repaired by Prabowo in the coming period.

"We will include several breakthroughs that the people have been waiting for," added the deputy chairman of the DPR.

Mengenai rencana pertemuan Prabowo dengan presiden Ke-4 sekaligus Ketua Umum PDIP Megawati Soekarnoputri, Dasco belum bisa memastikan jadwalnya.

Saat ini, Prabowo sedang fokus pada penyusunan nomenklatur kementerian dan pemilihan calon menteri, sehingga waktu untuk pertemuan perlu diatur agar tidak mengganggu proses penyusunan kabinet.

"The meeting will be carefully arranged so as not to waste the time needed for the preparation of the cabinet," concluded Dasco.
