JAKARTA - The Head of Metro Jaya Regional Police, Inspector General Fadil Imran, conducted an inspection of the security of the Tri Holy Easter Day celebration at the Christ Raja Catholic Church in Bendungan Hilir, Central Jakarta. Conditions are confirmed safe.

"Today we see the situation of the implementation of Good Friday, Alhamdulillah, the situation in Jakarta to date is full of coolness and peace, the mass service is safe and peaceful," said Fadil after the inspection, quoted by Antara, Friday, April 2.

Inspector General Fadil said his staff had improved and tightened security, not only in places of worship and other vital objects. Security preparations have been carried out long before the implementation of the Tri Holy Days of Easter.

"Long before the Easter Celebration, starting from Holy Thursday, Good Friday to Easter Sunday, we have been on patrols, we have controlled the church security system and we are also coordinating with church administrators," he continued.

Inspector General Fadil said that the security was also strengthened with the support of the Jakarta TNI and Pemprov personnel.

"The police are not alone, we see that there are friends from the TNI and Satpol PP of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, all collaborating in coordination and the church's internal security preparations are also extraordinary," he said.

Fadil also asked Christians to worship calmly because the police and related parties guarantee the security of Jakarta and its surroundings.

"Please carry out worship, we will secure, let us keep the cool and peaceful Jakarta with full of love and love for each other," he said.
