Plastic Workers In US Tennessee Swept Away By Floods Due To Forced Bossa Entering Work During The Helene Storm

JAKARTA - The Tennessee Job Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) in the United States (US) conducted an investigation into the impact that plastic injection factory workers were forced into work when the Helene storm hit.

The workers of Impact Plastics were swept away by floods caused by the Helene Tropical Storm Category 4. This incident caused the death toll.

Citing NBC News, a number of workers and families questioned said workers were required to come to work during the threat of a Helene storm in Erwin, Tennessee.

Workers are only allowed to go home if the flood has entered the factory parking area. They also said that workers should be allowed to go home early and even work at home when the threat of a Hellene bandai hits.

As a result, flooding due to the Helene storm was unavoidable for the workers. They were swept away by the flood when they left the factory.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) also intervened in the case by opening an investigation into allegations leading to Impact Plastics.

Impact Plastics responded by saying it would cooperate with investigations conducted by OSHA and TBI.

"The company is conducting an internal review of the events and chronology on September 27 and will share the information after the review is complete," the company said in a statement, Thursday, October 3.
