Malaysia Calls Israel's Aggression To Lebanon To Yemen Deliberately In Order To Divert The Genocide Of Palestinians

JAKARTA - Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim assessed Israel's continued aggression and attacks on Lebanon, Syria and Yemen were deliberate to distract the international community from atrocities and genocide against Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank.

"This ecosystem is clearly aimed at keeping Israeli political leaders in power and out of prison, sacrificing the lives of innocent people for someone's political career," Anwar said in his Facebook post, Wednesday, October 2.

Anwar also stressed that amid the increasing escalation of conflicts in the Middle East, Malaysia urged all parties to ease tensions that have disrupted regional stability.

On Tuesday October 1, United Nations (UN) Secretary-General Antonio Guterres condemned the spread of the Middle East conflict, saying a ceasefire was absolutely necessary.

Israel announced on Monday evening that it carried out a land invasion of southern Lebanon after an invasion of Gaza killed 41,495 people.

Within 24 hours of Israel starting an invasion of Lebanon, 95 people were declared dead and 172 others injured in airstrikes.
