Father's Body Drowned After Save His Family That Rolled The Waves In East Lombok Found

The joint SAR team evacuated the body of Fahrurrozi (40) who was previously reported missing by the current on Ijo Balit Beach, South Korleko Village, Labuhan Aji District, East Lombok Regency.

Head of the Mataram SAR Office Lalu Wahyu Efendi said the victim was found by fishermen who were looking for fish around 4.6 nautical miles, southwest of the scene.

"Jasad Fahrurrozi was found floating in the waters of Pandak Beach, Paperari Village at around 09.47 WITA, approximately one nautical mile from the shoreline," he said in Mataram, Wednesday, October 2, which was confiscated by Antara.

Then the victim was evacuated and handed over to the family.

The victim was reported missing on Monday, September 30, the joint SAR team then searched the beach area and dived.

"And use various equipment such as engined rubber boats and aqua eye to speed up the search process," he said.

The victim was missing while trying to save his family who was rolled by the waves. The victim at that time was tying the fishing rod while his family and children took a bath.

"Suddenly, his family was dragged by the waves," he said.

With great speed, Fahrurrozi tried to save them, fortunately, all of them managed to survive, but unfortunately, the victim was carried away until it disappeared.

"Since the loss report was received, the joint SAR team immediately moved quickly to search," he said.

This event serves as a reminder for all the importance of safety when doing activities on the beach, especially during extreme weather conditions.

"People are advised to always be vigilant and follow the advice of the authorities," he said.
