A total of 4 motorcyclists had an accident because they were surprised when they saw a number of East Jakarta Satpol PP officers controlling the party's flag at the Pondok Bambu Flyover Bridge, Duren Sawit District, East Jakarta, Tuesday, October 1.

East Jakarta Satpol PP Head Budhy Novian confirmed the incident. The incident began when officers brought down the party's outdated flag on the flyover.

"It also disturbs the comfort of motorists. We control it to make it neat," Budhy said when confirmed.

When the Satpol PP officers were lowering, the patrol car had to stop on the flyover. The Satpol PP car was parked on the side of the road.

"Because his condition was on the flyover, maybe the person who was riding didn't see it. When he got on, there was our car, he tried to take it to the right but was too hasty, so he immediately turned right, giving it suddenly, finally, the one who took the right lane of the motorbike suddenly braked. Finally it fell," he explained.

Budhy said there were 4 drivers who fell. They suffered minor injuries. No driver was seriously injured.

"Nothing, just minor injuries. Members actually helped them, some were taken to the puskesmas because their hands were injured," he said.

The control of the flags of political parties is carried out because the validity period is over.

"What is requested for installation has also been completed. Only sometimes if it is not done by itself, then we must tidy up it," he said.

In the control that caused 4 drivers to fall, Budhy said, it was in accordance with the SOP.

"Satpol PP uses hazard to warn from a distance," he said.
