Victims Of Sexual Harassment Of Ngaji Teachers In Ciputat As Many As 8 Children

TANGERANG - Regional Technical Service Unit (UPTD) for the Protection of Women and Children, Tri Purwanto revealed that 8 victims of harassment allegedly carried out by a Koran teacher named Mahendra (40) in Sarua Village, Ciputat, South Tangerang, were 8 people aged 13-17 years.

"The victim is 8 people. The average is 13-17 years," said Tri Purwanto when confirmed by VOI, Tuesday, October 1.

Tri said the number was known after the perpetrator was arrested by residents and handed it over to the police.

"Only now report. Because the perpetrator has been arrested," he said.

He explained that the case was revealed after the perpetrator abused his students in the mosque area of Sarua, Ciputat, South Tangerang.

"It was revealed because there was an incident that was caught by residents so they were taken to the (Tangsel) police station. They were caught at the mosque," he said.
