Anindya Opens Voice Meeting With Arsjad Overcoming Kadin Dualism

JAKARATA - Chairman of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) as a result of the 2024 Munaslub Anindya Bakrie explained that he and the General Chairperson of the 2021-2026 Chamber of Commerce and Industry Arsjad Rasjid wanted to work together to maintain cohesiveness and solidarity within this entrepreneurial organization.

Anindya after attending the IKA Unpad National Dialogue, in Jakarta, Saturday, said that cohesiveness was needed to face various challenges ahead.

"Kadin must be compact, must be solid, must be cool to answer what the nation's challenges will be in the future," said Anindya.

He said that as the Head of the 2024 National Chamber of Commerce and Industry, he accommodated various inputs. He also said that he was open if Arsjad Rasjid accompanied him as the Advisory Council of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

"Now that it has been given a mandate, September 14 is the General Chair, I am very open if Mr. Arsjad accompanied me, of course, in the Advisory Council," he said again.

He conveyed that the results of the munaslub organized by Kadin were the final decisions. This is because the forum is the highest meeting in an organization, and the one carrying him is a member of the provincial Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and an extraordinary member (ALB).

"So it is not the will of A or B, but it is indeed the voice of the stakeholder. And as is known, the munaslub was attended by representatives of the government, representatives of the people, there was an official opinion. So it's not about us A or B, but the point is what the mandate is," he said.

Furthermore, regarding his meeting with the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Bahlil Lahadalia and Arsjad Rasjid in Jakarta, Friday (27/9), Anindya said it was part of an effort to meet with various stakeholders.

"That is part of my efforts to travel to various kinds of ministers. So to the Ministry of Investment, Trade, Industry, ATR/BPN. So of course we will also continue with the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, and especially when it happens that there is also a friend of mine, Mr. Arsjad," he said again.

Previously, the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Bahlil Lahadalia brought together the Chairman of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry 2021-2026 Arsjad Rasjid, and the General Chairperson of Kadin as a result of the 2024 National Conference, Anindya Bakrie.

In the video received in Jakarta, Friday (27/9), it appears that the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Bahlil embraces the two business world leaders, and says that both parties have forgiven each other.

"This is my friend Pak Arsjad and Pak Anin, and both of them have been willing to run a good organization and we have met the patents and we have forgiven each other and we think that in the future Kadin should be better and we will all run it," said Bahlil.
