President Jokowi Receives Equipment Of Hiu Kencana Brevet

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo received the embedding of the Kencana Brevet Hiu which also marked the moment of Jokowi's appointment as an honorary citizen of the Indonesian Navy.

Brevet Hiu Kencana was directly pinned by the TNI Commander General Agus Subiyanto to President Joko Widodo on the right chest which took place above KRI dr. Radjiman Wedyodiningrat (RJW-992).

At that moment, the Samkaryanugraha Honorary Sign was also granted to the Commander of the Submarine Unit Koarmada II for KRI Nanggala 402 soldiers.

The event was continued by singing the anthem Indonesia Raya and a moment of silence.

The President and the ministers and TNI officials who attended then held a photo session together.

The event closed with a friendly session and a Presidential dialogue with the families of KRI Nanggala 402 soldiers.

The President was accompanied by TNI Commander General Agus Subiyanto, National Police Chief General Pol. Listyo Sigit Prabowo, Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto, Minister of State Secretary Pratikno, Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Hadi Tjahjanto, Minister of ATR/BPN Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono, and Acting Governor of DKI Heru Budi Hartono then went on a voyage with KRI dr. Radjiman Wedyodiningrat.

Quoted from the tniad.mil.id page, the Kencana Brevet Hiu is a form of respect and appreciation for the Indonesian Navy, especially the Submarine Unit, which is only given to figures, residents, and soldiers in the ranks of the TNI who are seen as having contributed and provided attention and struggle for the Indonesian Navy.

Meanwhile, the honor of Samkaryanugraha was given to the TNI unit which has contributed to a military operation and development for national and national defense.
