Police Reveal 87 Gangster Brawl Cases In Semarang In 9 Months, 73 People Become Suspects

JATENG - Semarang Polrestabes revealed 83 cases of inter-gangster brawls that occurred from January to September 2024.

"Of that many cases, there were 43 cases whose handling continued until the court," said Semarang Police Chief Kombes Pol. Irwan Anwar in Semarang, Friday, September 27, was confiscated by Antara.

He said, there were 73 perpetrators who were criminally processed in the various cases of the brawl.

Of the perpetrators, he continued, 22 people were recorded as minors. In addition, there were almost 200 perpetrators who were given guidance.

As a firm effort to prevent brawls between gangsters in Semarang, his party has carried out enforcement activities in the form of alcoholic beverage raids.

The police chief revealed that not a few of the brawlers were affected by alcoholic beverages in action.

In the raids held over the last few days, the Semarang Polrestabes secured hundreds of bottles and tens of liters of alcoholic beverages of various types from various sellers.
