PDIP Ready To Face Tia Rahmania's Legal Efforts Which Were Canceled As Members Of The DPR

Chairman of the PDI-P (PDIP) DPP for National Legal System Reform Ronny Talapessy said his party was ready to face Tia Rahmania's legal action.

This was conveyed by Ronny regarding the dismissal of Tia who was said to be guilty of committing a favorable transfer of votes.

"Regarding in the future, if there are other things, are there legal remedies, of course we from the party have carried out the process," said Ronny, quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, September 26.

According to him, Tia's dismissal process has gone through many things with the provisions in accordance with the DPP PDIP's articles of association or household budget (AD/ART).

"This is in accordance with the laws of political parties and the provisions of the articles of association, our household budget and our internal party regulations," he said.

He also said that PDIP had no objection if Tia made legal remedies. Ronny emphasized that his party would face Tia.

"So go ahead, of course we will see in the future and we will face it," explained Ronny.

Previously, PDIP DPP Chair Puan Maharani denied the dismissal of Tia Rahmania for criticizing the Deputy Chairman of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Nurul Ghufron.

Puan revealed that Tia's dismissal was not related to the KPK because her party had sent a letter to the General Elections Commission (KPU) to replace Tia withru Triyana.

"It has nothing to do with it. Because the event at Lemhannas was held after the letter was sent to the KPU," said Puan.

He asked all parties not to misinterpret Tia's dismissal because she criticized the leadership of the anti-corruption agency.

"This should not then have a misunderstanding, it seems that there is a difference or there is a dislike between political parties and the KPK. It has nothing to do with it," he added.

Puan conveyed that PDIP has rules and can decide internally whether or not a legislative candidate can be inaugurated.

"Yes, indeed in our party we have a party court that can decide internally whether one of the legislative candidates can be appointed or not," he said.

He did not want to explain in more detail regarding this matter. Therefore, Puan asked the media crew to ask the PDIP DPP directly.
