No Soybean Trucks Backed Off On The Dalkot Toll Road, Hit By A Truck Loaded With Nails, One Person Died

JAKARTA - A truck loaded with nails and gypsum had an accident after being hit by a truck loaded with soybeans on the Inner City Toll Road (dalkot), Kuningan, South Jakarta, Thursday, September 26, early in the morning. One driver died.

Clothing 1 PJR Polda Metro Jaya, AKP Didik Sapto explained that the incident began when a truck loaded with soybeans passed at the crime scene (TKP).

While on the way, soybean trucks were not strong enough to climb because the luggage was too much, so they walked backwards.

The truck carrying soybeans experienced a failed brake. Incidentally, the climb was not strong enough to go up, finally the front was backward. The back was fast as well as the speed. As a result, it hit the victim's truck behind it. As a result of the incident, the truck driver was pinched and killed on the spot," Didik told reporters at the location, Thursday, September 26.

Realizing that someone had died, the soy truck driver chose to run away from his vehicle. The victim named Zaenal Arifin was left at the location.

"While the driver ran away," he said.

The evacuation process with Jasamarga had difficulty because the victim was caught in the truck's head.

"The study was for the evacuation of victims, given the narrowing of the head (truck). Until finally, PJR and Jasa Marga tried and Alhamdulillah until now the victim was able to be evacuated and taken to Kramat Jati Hospital," he said.

Budi, the victim's younger brother, admitted that he did not know the chronology of the incident. However, he only received news that his brother had died as a result of the accident.

"Yes, I got news from friends, sir, what car. My brother is number 5," Budi said when met at the location, Thursday, September 26.

He said his older brother, Zaenal Arifin, plans to go to the Semarang area, Central Java. However, unfortunately, he had an accident due to being hit by a truck loaded with soybeans.

Earlier, he planned to return to Central Java. My brother. Semarang," he said.
