Police Arrest 2 Suspects Of Burning Empty Houses In Palangka Raya

PALANGKA RAYA - Palangka Raya Police Chief, Central Kalimantan, Kombes Boy Herlambang said his party arrested two suspects in the burning of an empty house that occurred some time ago on Bukit Keminting Street, Palangka Village, Jekan Raya District.

"One suspect who was detained at the Pahandut Police in the filing process and declared P-21. Meanwhile, one of the other suspects is currently in the filing process," Boy said as quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, September 25.

Based on the suspect's statement, the two admitted their actions. The suspect deliberately burned uninhabited buildings.

However, the two suspects were not one group, but acted separately at different locations of the incident.

"The first reason is that they want to look for sensations and like to see the fire. However, it is suspected that my syndrome cannot say it reaches that realm," he said.

The suspect who was secured by the Pahandut Police, was in action at a crime scene.

Meanwhile, the suspect who was arrested by the Satreskrim Polresta Palangka Raya, is known to have acted in five crime scenes.

"Meanwhile, what we managed to do was investigate the fire due to intent, although there were several incidents caused by an electrical short," he said.

The arrests of the two suspects became a bright spot in uncovering the mystery of the fire that occurred in Palangka Raya.

"With the cooperation between the police and the community, it is hoped that the fire case in Palangka Raya can be resolved, so that a conducive security and public order situation (Kamtibmas) can be created," said Boy.
