The Attorney General's Office Examines 9 Witnesses In The MBZ Toll Corruption Case, One Of Them Is The Former Director Of Road Traffic At The Ministry Of Transportation

The Attorney General's Office (AGO) has examined 9 witnesses in the investigation of the alleged corruption case of the construction of the Jakarta-Cikampek (Japek) II toll road in the Cikunir to West Karawang section, known as MBZ.

One of them is the former Director of Road Traffic at the Directorate General of Land Transportation of the Ministry of Transportation.

"Investigating PY as Director of Road Traffic of the Directorate General of Land Transportation of the Ministry of Transportation for the period 2018 to 2020," said Head of the AGO, Harli Siregar in his statement, Wednesday, September 25.

Then, for other witnesses who were also examined in the investigation of the case, among others, AND as Assistant Director of PT Tridi Membran Utama for the 2017-2020 period; AS who is the Project Control Manager of PT JJC for the period May 2017 to March 2021; ID as the Head of Project Area 3 PT JJC (KM 28 + 450 Cikarang sd. KM 48 Karawang).

Then, KNN as Civil Site Engineering, Project Japek II Elevated KSO Waskita-Acset for the period 2017 to 2020; MRA as Administration Head of PT Acset Indonusa for the period 10 June 2017 to 31 March 2018; JRPS as President Director of PT Grant Surya Pondasi.

There is also OAP as the Fiance Function Head of PT Acset Indonusa and DA which is the Production & Equipment Manager Engineering Procurement and Construction Division of PT Waskita Karya for the period 2020-2021.

However, it was not conveyed in detail what the investigators investigated from the witnesses. It is only stated that the examination process will take place on Tuesday, September 24.

"The witness examination was carried out to strengthen the evidence and complete the filing in the case," said Harli.

In handling this case, the AGO is known to have named five suspects, one of whom has the initials DP as Waskita-Acset's operational cooperation (KSO) power.

Meanwhile, the other four suspects are the President Director (Director) of Jasamarga Jalanlayang Cikampek (JJC) Djoko Dwijono, Chairman of the Auction Committee PT JJC Yudhi Mahyudin, Director of Operations of PT Bukaka Teknik Utama Sofiah Balfas, and former Expert Staff of the PT LAPI Ganeshama Consulting Bridge, Tony Budianto Sihite.

The four of them have undergone a judicial process. Where, the panel of judges sentenced them to 4 years in prison.
