Declaration Of Peaceful Campaign, Pramono Anung Wants Jakarta's Gubernatorial Election To Be Best Practice

JAKARTA - Jakarta Governor Candidate number 3 Pramono Anung admitted that he wanted to carry out the Jakarta gubernatorial election campaign as a good example for other regions in the implementation of the 2024 Pilkada.

This was revealed by Pramono in the Declaration of Peaceful Campaign for the Election of the Governor and Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta 2024 held by the DKI Jakarta KPU in the Kota Tua area, West Jakarta.

"In the 2024 Pilkada, we want to provide evidence to other regions, that Jakarta can be the best practice, be an example of democracy that is going well," said Pramono, Tuesday, September 23.

Pramono also hopes that all candidates for Governor-Deputy Governor of Jakarta will carry out campaigns without taking advantage of identity politics such as ethnicity and religion, as well as without hoaxes to money politics.

Pramono also wants the campaign to be carried out by educating voters regarding good democratic contestation.

"From Jakarta, we show all over the country that Jakarta is a good example for democracy. From Jakarta we show all over the country, that whatever difference happens, the debate is a choice that must be made to provide lessons, democratic education for our voters, together we protect Jakarta so that mutual cooperation is still created," explained Pramono.

Three pairs of candidates for Governor-Deputy Governor of Jakarta read out the declaration of a peaceful campaign in the 2024 Pilkada together. The declaration was held by the DKI Jakarta KPU in front of the Jakarta History Museum or Fatahillah.

In the declaration, Ridwan Kamil-Soeswono, Dharma Pongrekun-Kun Wardana and Pramono Anung-Rano Karno promised to carry out the 2024 Pilkada with a luber jurdil, campaign in integrity and in accordance with statutory regulations.

In addition to reading the declaration, three candidate pairs and supporting political parties (political parties) also signed an integrity pact containing a declaration of a peaceful campaign.

The Jakarta cagub-cawagub now have the serial number of the Jakarta Pilkada. In the plenary meeting for the draw and determination of the serial number held by the DKI Jakarta KPU, RK-Suswono received serial number 1, Dharma-Kun number 2, and Pramono-Rano serial number 3.

Ridwan Kamil-Suswono was promoted by 12 political parties. The details are the Gerindra Party, the Golkar Party, the Prosperous Justice Party, the NasDem Party, the National Awakening Party, the Indonesian Solidarity Party, the Democratic Party, the National Mandate Party, the Garuda Party, the Gelora Party, the Perindo Party, and the United Development Party.

Pramono-Rano was promoted by PDI Perjuangan and Hanura, while Dharma-Kun Wardana advanced as a candidate pair for an individual or independent pathway.
