Pramono Discourses On Free KJP Recipients Entering Ancol And TMII

JAKARTA - Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung's candidate for Governor Pramono Anung has discussed that students who receive the Jakarta Smart Card (KJP) can visit the Ancol tourist area and Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) for free.

If elected as Governor-Deputy Governor of Jakarta in the 2024 Pilkada, Pramono and his deputy, Rano Karno, promise to free access to Ancol and TMII several times a year for KJP recipients.

"If we are given a mandate, then children who get a Jakarta Smart Card or Jakarta, they may make visits three or four times free of charge given by the Jakarta government. Including their companions," Pramono said at the Hanura Party consolidation event, Kuningan, South Jakarta, Saturday, September 21.

Pramono assessed that students in Jakarta also need recreation other than carrying out their learning obligations. Meanwhile, many KJP recipients who come from underprivileged families cannot visit tourist areas due to economic limitations.

"I just found out that most of those who receive the Jakarta Smart Card have never seen Ancol or Taman Mini at all," said Pramono.

On that occasion, Pramono also expressed his promise to expand job opportunities for generation Z and millennial groups, if he won the 2024 Pilkada. Pramono named the job expansion program which he initiated with the Jakarta Fund with the DKI Provincial Government as the capital giver.

"I will initiate the so-called Jakarta Fund. So, Jakarta can become an investor in various areas of good economically profitable projects as long as it is managed professionally," said Pramono.

Later, the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government will allocate funds from the remaining more budget financing (SiLPA) of the Jakarta APBD to run the program.

In recent years, the DKI Jakarta Regional Budget SilPA each year has reached no less than IDR 5 trillion per year. The former Cabinet Secretary said that the idea of allocation of funds for job expansion from the rest of the APBD could be the answer to overcome the needs of the younger generation of employment.

"Can it be possible? Sure can, sure can. Because of why? Jakarta has an APBD of IDR 85-86 trillion, the SilPA, the remaining IDR 5 trillion. Let's say that if IDR 1-2 trillion is used for basic capital for the Jakarta Fund, this will be very profitable and provide additional revenue for Jakarta. At the same time, we also open up jobs," added Pramono.
