Apart From Harun Masiku, Paulus Tannos, The Fugitive E-KTP Corruption Suspect, Continues To Be Chased By The KPK

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has confirmed that the search for an unknown fugitive continues, including the suspect in the alleged corruption of the e-KTP procurement project Paulus Tannos. They not only focused on pursuing Harun Masiku.

"The public can be sure, believe that the process of investigating the case is still ongoing, not subject to ice, right. (The search is carried out, red) in a professional and procedural manner," said KPK Spokesperson Tessa Mahardika to reporters, Friday, September 20.

Even so, Tessa said Paulus' search could not be revealed like Harun Masiku. "We'll just have to wait for the update," he said.

The KPK has just examined a witness in the corruption case in the procurement of the e-KTP project, namely PSW, who is a private person. The examination was carried out on Tuesday, September 17.

Based on the information obtained, PSW is Paulus Sinarta Wijaya. However, the results of the examination have not been further detailed by the KPK.

As previously reported, the KPK revealed that Paulus Tannos no longer holds Indonesian passports. As a result, they could not arrest the suspect in the alleged corruption of the Electronic KTP (e-KTP) procurement project even though they had found it in another country.

Meanwhile, related to corruption in the e-KTP procurement project, it is said that it is detrimental to the state of up to Rp. 2.3 trillion when referring to the report of the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK).

This case dragged the names of a number of high-ranking officials in the ministry, such as former Director General of Dukcapil Irman and former official at the Ministry of Home Affairs Sugiharto. In addition, there is also the name of former DPR Speaker Setya Novanto, former member of Commission III of the DPR Hanura Faction, Miryam S Haryani, a former member of Commission III of the DPR Markus Nari.

Then the most recent KPK named four suspects. They are former members of Commission II of the DPR from the Hanura Party faction, Miryam S Haryani, President Director of Perum Percetakan Negara RI (PNRI) as well as Chairman of the Consortium of the PNRI Isnu Edhi Wijaya, Head of the Information Technology Technical Team for the Application of KTP Husni Fahmi, and President Director of PT Sandipala Arthaputra, Paulus Tanos.
