Jokowi Continues Working Visit To East Java

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo continued his working visit to East Java, after carrying out a series of activities in Yogyakarta and Central Java.

The Head of State and his entourage departed for East Java using the Indonesian Presidential Aircraft-1 from the Adi Soemarmo Air Force Base, Boyolali Regency, Central Java at around 16.45 WIB, Thursday, September 19.

President Joko Widodo arrived at Juanda International Airport, Sidoarjo Regency, East Java, at around 17.20 WIB.

Furthermore, President Jokowi spent the night in Surabaya to then continue his work visit tomorrow (Friday).

Previously, Jokowi attended a meeting of dozens of young kiai throughout Java Island at the Ora Aji Islamic Boarding School (Ponpes) in Sleman Regency, Yogyakarta Special Region.

The President also inaugurated the opening of the XXII Economic Bachelors Association (ISEI) Congress and inaugurated the toll road in Central Java.

In Surabaya, the President plans to witness the marriage of the son of the Governor of East Java 2019-2024 Khofifah Indar Parawansa, at the Al-Akbar National Mosque in Surabaya (MAS).
